The key to bringing good jobs to our state is having an educated workforce, second to none. Our state has one of the highest concentrations of engineers in the nation, and we can build on that infrastructure to educate our workers of the future. Our children need to know that education and knowledge is the power that will drive our economic future out of this slump. We have a moral responsibility to provide our children with the tools they need to get good paying jobs, so they will remain in Michigan.
As your state representative I will:
- protect full funding of our public schools
- expand coursework to include inventor ship and entrepreneurship
- expand community involvement in our neighborhood schools
