As a product of the Flint public education system, I believe every child is entitled to a quality public education. Government’s role is to make certain appropriate resources are allocated to accomplish this important objective.
Because MEA members volunteered extensively, contributed generously and, most of all, turned out to vote in record numbers, 93 of 103 MEA-recommended candidates were elected on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
